On 11-12 September 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic, The 8th Central & Eastern Europe Nuclear Industry Congress 2023 took place. The Congress is the largest nuclear industry conference in Central & Eastern Europe with focusing on the latest projects in: Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Finland, Belarus, Ukraine.
The scope of the Congress covers the whole nuclear industry chain of New Build, SMRs, Life Extension, Fuel Cycle, Decommissioning & Waste Management.
DEsire project was represented by prof. A. Chmielewski, who gave two presentations titled: Decarbonization of Power Sector with SMRs Use – Polish Perspective and Role of Standarization and Accredited Laboratories in Nuclear Energy.
