On April 14, 2025, the International Climate Summit TOGETAIR 2025 took place in Warsaw. The DEsire project was represented by Łukasz Bartela, who participated in a panel discussion titled “Nuclear Energy – A Roadmap for SMR Development.”
The discussion focused extensively on the role of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in building a healthy energy mix and the regulatory frameworks needed to accelerate the implementation of essential investments. Panelists also discussed potential locations that are favorable for deploying energy generation systems based on small nuclear reactors.
