The Baltic Nuclear Energy Forum was an event held from March 18 to 22, 2025, at the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk. The DEsire project was represented by Łukasz Bartela, who participated in two discussion panels. The first was titled “Nuclear for Heat: A New Era in Polish District Heating”. This panel focused on discussing the role of both large and small nuclear reactors in the transformation of the national district heating sector.
The second panel, titled “Power in People: Educating the Workforce for the Development of the Nuclear Industry”, brought together experts from academia to discuss training and education programs aimed at preparing specialists for careers in nuclear energy.
