On November 26, 2024, the conference titled “SMRs as an Opportunity for the Polish Turbine Industry” took place in Gdańsk. The event was organized by the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The DEsire project was represented by Łukasz Bartela, who delivered a presentation titled “Coal-to-Nuclear” and later participated in a panel discussion titled “How to Leverage the Polish Turbine Industry in the Development of SMRs for District Heating and Industry.”
