On March 24, 2025, a conference on the role of nuclear energy in Poland’s energy transition took place in Wilanów, organized by Instytut Sobieskiego. The event was part of the DEsire project, focusing on the Coal-to-Nuclear transition.
The conference was opened by Zbigniew Wiegner (Polish Nuclear Power Plants) with a presentation titled “From the Diary of a Construction Manager”, followed by Łukasz Bartela (Silesian University of Technology), who introduced the DEsire project’s goals and achievements.
