{"id":844,"date":"2024-10-17T11:01:51","date_gmt":"2024-10-17T09:01:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projektdesire.pl\/?p=844"},"modified":"2024-10-17T11:06:55","modified_gmt":"2024-10-17T09:06:55","slug":"the-founding-agreement-of-the-desire-energy-transformation-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projektdesire.pl\/en\/the-founding-agreement-of-the-desire-energy-transformation-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"The Founding Agreement of the DEsire Energy Transformation Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the DEsire Project Seminar held in Gliwice on September 27, the founding agreement of the DEsire Energy Transformation Platform was officially signed.<br \/>\nThe signatories of the agreement were representatives of the three largest universities operating in Silesia and Zag\u0142\u0119bie, in the persons of Prof. Marcin Stanek, Vice-Rector for Cooperation with the Social and Economic Environment of the Silesian University of Technology; Dr. Miros\u0142aw Pawe\u0142czyk, Prof. U\u015a., representing the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice; and Prof. Maciej Nowak, Vice-Rector for Science and Academic Staff Development of the University of Economics in Katowice.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement defines the principles of long-term cooperation in the initiation and implementation of joint scientific and research and development projects, as well as activities aimed at creating a scientific and research hub promoting the ideas of equitable energy transition. The Platform will work to popularize and deepen knowledge on various possible paths to decarbonization.<\/p>\n<p>The piloting of the Platform is a result of the DEsire project. The Platform is open and an entity, institution or organization active in the field of energy decarbonization can become a member.
