On September 26-27, about 70 participants representing 27 entities attended another second edition of the DEsire project seminar and workshop.
\nThis time, the speakers’ speeches focused on the methodology for estimating financial savings from the use of coal-fired power plant infrastructure elements in nuclear investments, as well as the assumptions made for determining economic efficiency indicators for Coal-to-Nuclear investments. During the panel discussion, the main barriers standing in the way of effective launch and operation of the first and subsequent nuclear investments in Poland were identified and discussed.<\/p>\n
During the workshop, the DEsire Team, and in particular ENERGOPROJEKT-KATOWICE SA, which is preparing preliminary feasibility studies for reference sites, received a solid dose of feedback. They will certainly help in further work.<\/p>\n
