Chmielewska, A. Mi\u015bkiewicz and T. Smoli\u0144ski from the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology.<\/p>\n<p>This publication provides information on national and international status of the SMRs\u2019 development. Additionally short description of SMRs underlining the safety aspects, which need to be taken into account in the implementation process is covered by the first part of the article.
