The meeting was held on 13th October 2022 and it concerned NUCLEAR ENERGY IN THE CONTEXT OF DECARBONIZATION OF THE HEATING SECTOR.<\/p>\n<p>In the first part of the meeting, Adam Rajewski, vice-president of the nuclear.pl Foundation and lecturer at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, gave a lecture on technical conditions and the current state of nuclear cogeneration.<\/p>\n<p>In the second part of the meeting, \u0141ukasz Bartela, representing the DEsire project, provided information on the Coal-to-Nuclear decarbonization path for power industry.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was hosted by Pawe\u0142 Gajda, lecturer at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krak\u00f3w and UN Global Compact Network Poland Expert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The DEsire project was represented at the second meeting of the nuclear energy group organized by the UN Global Compact Network Poland, an initiative of the UN Secretary General.
