The next issue of the Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection bulletin will feature a publication DYNAMIC DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL MODULAR REACTORS (SMR) – SITUATION IN POLAND AND IN THE WORLD by D. Chmielewska, A. Miśkiewicz and T. Smoliński from the Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology.
This publication provides information on national and international status of the SMRs’ development. Additionally short description of SMRs underlining the safety aspects, which need to be taken into account in the implementation process is covered by the first part of the article. The paper was created as a result of the DEsire project.
